From the source, Preseli Bluestone is a Dolorite from the Preseli Hills in Pembrokshire, West Wales in England, that was used 5000 years ago to put up the inner circle of the Megalith Stone Circle of Stonehenge. This metamorph rock of Feldspar and Augit was according to the old legends used by the great magician Merlin to build Stonehenge, Camelot and the round Table of King Arthur and the Tempelknights. The magical and healing purposes were known in Wales all over for a long time.
Several other Dolmen in the area are made of Preseli Bluestone and can still be visited. People believe they are gateways to world of Gnomes and Fairies.
